Job Description
Box is seeking a Director of Enterprise Risk to lead its Enterprise Risk function. This role involves developing and delivering the strategy for the next generation of Risk Management at Box. The Director will work cross-functionally, interacting with stakeholders across the business, including Box Executives and Box’s Audit Committee. This role requires someone to investigate complex issues, clearly articulate and quantify risks, and establish metrics and frameworks for effective risk management. They will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a high-performing team.
What this role involves:
- Leading Box’s Enterprise Risk Program.
- Investigating and solving complex issues effectively.
- Articulating and quantifying risk and their impact to the business.
- Working cross-functionally to establish metrics and frameworks for driving effective Risk Management.
- Briefing Box Executive Management and the Audit Committee on Risk.
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing team responsible for Risk Management.
- Leading and conducting Enterprise Risk Assessments and Fraud Risk Assessments.
- Owning Box’s Risk Register.
Requirements:
- Extensive Experience (10+) years in Cyber and Operational Risk Management, preferably in the Technology sector.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, accurately, and succinctly to diverse audiences.
- A history of building strong relationships, credibility, and partnerships.
- Track record of managing, developing, and empowering teams.
