Box is seeking a Solution Architect to join their consulting team in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, the individual will provide technical support for projects involving Box Platform and API integrations with other products, focusing on customer success. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, working closely with sales and field teams to maximize opportunities through tool identification, requirements definition, development, design, construction, and project scoping.

The Solution Architect will be involved in developing new applications that combine Box with other SaaS products and technologies.

What This Role Involves:

  • Eliciting technical requirements from prospective and existing customers.
  • Defining customer challenges and requirements, providing technical advice and solutions.
  • Designing, implementing, and providing technical QA for applications that integrate with Box.
  • Understanding Box's ecosystem of solutions and proposing solutions based on their features.
  • Developing and proposing use cases utilizing the Box API.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of practical development experience (any development language).
  • Experience in project management from requirements definition to release, including client negotiation.
  • Business-level Japanese language skills.
  • English language skills for daily conversation.
  • Ability to drive projects forward, involving clients, partners, and internal teams.
