Job Description
Box is seeking a Team Manager for their Customer Success team in Japan. This role involves leading a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) focused on retaining and growing strategic customers. The manager will report to the Senior Director, Customer Success and play a key role in setting the strategy for Customer Success at Box.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of high-performing Customer Success Managers.
  • Design and drive strategic improvements to scale processes and systems.
  • Provide guidance on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Partner with sales, renewals, and consulting teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Create account plans utilizing high-touch, tech-touch, and partner-touch approaches.
  • Establish executive relationships with key customers.
  • Drive successful platform adoption, customer outcomes, retention, and expansion goals.
  • Hire and retain a best-in-class CSM team.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience managing customer relationships with a successful track record of driving retention and health.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Collaborative team player with a track record of partnering with sales and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven decision maker with a strong focus on execution and accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships with key executives.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to execute at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong operational rigor and effective project management skills.
  • Tech savvy and excited to learn Box's products.
