Box is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to join their Japanese partner sales team. As a leading company in the cloud content management market, Box's mission is to power how the world works together. The company provides secure and user-friendly content management, collaboration, workflow, and electronic signature solutions, strongly promoting customers' digital transformation. K.K. Box Japan was established in August 2013 as the Japanese branch of Box Inc. and continues to grow. The company is looking for talent who can further promote Box and grow together.

In this role, the Partner Solutions Engineer will work closely with Channel Account Executives to develop and execute strategies to achieve target budgets. This involves providing proposal support to partners, conducting demonstrations of Box and its integrations with 3rd party products, and creating technical materials and demo videos. The engineer will also deliver seminars and training sessions for Box and partners, offering technical assistance and support.

The Partner Solutions Engineer will further provide technical training to relevant departments for partners, answer QA regarding Box specifications, and handle QA regarding the network environment necessary for using Box. They will also escalate issues to the support team and head office development department, as well as provide technical advice and expand sales support for partner-owned 3rd party products and Box integration development.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of partner sales engineer experience.
  • Experience with Active Directory, SSO, TCP/IP, and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of partner business models.
  • Business-level Japanese communication skills.
