Box, a leader in cloud content management, is seeking a Channel Account Manager to join their Japan team. This role involves nurturing existing partner relationships, identifying new partners, and driving sales activities within the Japanese market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the IT industry, excellent communication skills, and experience in channel sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Deepen relationships with existing partners and support the development of new partners
  • Negotiate terms, contracts, pricing, and set sales goals
  • Maintain and strengthen partner relationships through regular reviews
  • Develop and execute sales plans for partners based on corporate strategy
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape, propose and implement sales promotion activities
  • Promote market launch and promotional activities with partner cooperation
  • Conduct product knowledge and sales skills training for partner sales teams
  • Provide product technical support and marketing support to support partner sales activities
  • Analyze partner sales data and propose action plans to achieve targets
  • Evaluate partner performance based on market and sales trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of partner or channel business experience in the IT industry
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese domestic market and distribution channels
  • Excellent communication skills with partners
  • Experience in developing sales strategies, contract negotiation, pricing, and sales planning
  • Experience in foreign-affiliated IT companies
  • Experience in optimizing distribution operations and supply chain management
  • Business-level English communication skills (preferred)
