Box is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team in Japan. Box is a market leader in Cloud Content Management, partnering with enterprise organizations to accelerate their digital transformation. The role involves being a key part of the team that’s building Box's partner ecosystem, conducting co-sell and co-marketing motions with strategic partners like Microsoft, Google, AWS, and consulting firms like Accenture, Deloitte, and PWC. The Senior Business Development Manager will evangelize joint value with key partners, develop partners such as SIers, ISVs, and Carriers, and negotiate contracts.

What this role involves:
  • Evangelizing joint value with key partners.
  • Co-marketing and co-selling with strategic partners and consulting firms.
  • Developing partners such as SIers, ISVs, and Carriers.
  • Negotiating contracts/agreements with potential partners.
  • Building Go-To-Market Strategies with various partners.
  • Managing relationships with partners.
  • Working closely with various internal teams to ensure successful partnerships in Japan.


Requirements include:
  • 3+ years in IT-related partner development.
  • Balanced skill and knowledge on Business and technology.
  • Experience building business/partnership from scratch to success.
  • Comprehensive understanding of B2B IT ecosystem, IT technologies (Network, Security, Web application).
  • Strong academic background.
  • IT service experience.
  • Fluency in English (TOEIC 860+, 5 years business English experience).
  • Experience working for a US headquartered business.
