Job Description

PhonePe is looking for a Financial Journalist/Research Specialist to join their team. The candidate will research stock market concepts and events and convey them clearly and creatively.

Responsibilities:

• Research economy, global economic events, businesses, stock markets, mutual funds, personal finance topics
• Keep up with trends in the stock market and regulatory developments
• Write in-depth explainers related to markets and finance
• Execute content strategies to communicate financial news and investment philosophies
• Pay attention to detail, find authentic sources, and fact-check content
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Drive strategic and tactical research
• Contribute to building the research ecosystem
• Monitor and analyze content performance

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Passion for continuous learning
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Journalism, Communications, or related field
• 7-8 years of overall experience in the finance domain
• 3+ years of experience in content creation in the finance domain, preferably stock market related
