Powertrain Build Technician (Contract)

Job Description

Harbinger is seeking a Powertrain Build Technician to assemble and test electric motors and drive unit assemblies. The technician will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate process adherence and delivering a conforming final product.

What This Role Involves:

• Assembling drive unit components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions.
• Conducting in-process inspections, tests, and quality checks.
• Diagnosing assembly issues and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate records of assembly procedures.
• Adhering to all safety protocols.
• Performing routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience in electric drive unit assembly or a related field.
• Meticulous adherence to assembly and test processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods.
