Yieldstreet is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their Athens-based team. This role supports the Accounting and Finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for various entities. The Fund Accountant will report to the Financial Controller in New York, US and assist with the financial reporting packages.

What this role involves:
  • Working with Yieldstreet Funds and Individual Offerings
  • Preparing financial reporting packages for auditors
  • Preparing month-end financial reconciliations
  • Assisting with year-end tax processes (1099s and K-1s)
  • Working with auditors and tax professionals
  • Managing assigned tasks in accounting projects
  • Supporting process improvement and system implementation
  • Ad-hoc reports as needed


Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of accounting/auditing experience in investment management or a reputable audit firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting; Master's or equivalent, or ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification
  • US GAAP experience preferred
  • Understanding of investment company accounting rules (ASC 946)
  • Knowledge of reconciliation procedures and account analysis
  • Ability to proactively present and escalate ideas
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to strict timelines
  • Tenacious and strong sense of ownership
  • Proactive and methodical approach to work
