Job Description
WPP is seeking a Director, Treasury (Assistant Treasurer) to join their US Treasury team in New York. This role is pivotal in supporting the team's focus on efficient cash management and liquidity optimization. The Assistant Treasurer will report to the US Treasurer and manage 2 direct FTE reports and 2 interns.

Role involves:
  • Oversight of daily cash positioning and forecasting.
  • Optimizing cash flow and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Administration of bank accounts and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Overseeing short-term investment and borrowing activities.
  • Supporting the optimization of the global treasury management system (TMS).
  • Building relationships with CFOs and finance leaders across WPP’s Agencies.
  • Assisting in identifying and mitigating financial risks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a treasury or finance role within a multinational company.
  • Knowledge of treasury management principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
