WPP is seeking a Senior OKTA Engineer to take ownership of its OKTA platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless and secure access for WPP's employees, partners, and clients worldwide. This role involves innovation in resolutions of major incidents, application integrations, and strategic thinking. The engineer will be part of a new in-house OKTA technical team, providing support for a complex platform and a diverse user base.

Role involves:

  • Providing support for a complex OKTA platform
  • Liaising with internal OpCo’s and external customers.
  • Ensuring adherence to audit standards.
  • Assisting in reporting on all aspects of the OKTA environments for security and audit requirements.
  • Supporting the implementation of strategic IDAM objectives.
  • Providing technical 2nd Line support to a wide user base.
  • Supporting application integrations into the OKTA service.
  • Setting Up Org2org and SCIM Configuration In OKTA
  • Maintaining CMDB & Service Catalogue & technical documentation relating to IDAM configuration items
  • Participating in the IDAM Change Management process

Requirements:

  • Certified to OKTA Professional level or equivalent.
  • Expert understanding of IDAM solutions, including Okta, Azure AD, Active Directory, G-Suite, and AWS.
  • Understanding of SSO implementations including SAML/OpenID integrations.
  • Technical experience in IDAM support & implementations.
  • Experience with conditional access controls.
  • Product Management & Support Collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of AD/LDAP, AAD, AADC, SCCM, Citrix, Okta, Group Policy
  • Experience of working in global, complex environments
  • Accountability of service incidents
  • Great verbal & written communication & interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving, abstraction & critical-thinking skills
  • Pragmatic approach, proactivity & autonomy
