Job Description
WPP is seeking a Senior SAP Business Objects Reporting Lead to support the Maconomy Global ERP rollout programs and resolve BAU reporting issues. This role involves hands-on leadership, contributing to report design and development while ensuring the team meets high standards and deadlines.
Role Involves:
- Leading and mentoring a team of SAP Business Objects analysts and developers.
- Designing, developing, and enhancing complex reports from multiple data sources.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
- Contributing to the design and development of SAP Business Objects universes.
- Leading the implementation of a data warehouse.
- Creating and executing detailed test plans for report accuracy.
- Managing the deployment of reports to test and production environments.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation for all reports.
- Monitoring report performance and implementing optimizations.
- Promoting best practices and standards for Business Objects development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Finance ERP solutions and data structures.
- Experience with Maconomy ERP and project accounting.
- Proficiency in SAP Business Objects suite.
- Knowledge of database, MS SQL*SERVER, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Experience with Data Warehouse, ETL, Pentaho.
- Understanding of the Software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence requirements.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
