Job Description
WPP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foundation Data Analyst to join their global organization. This role will support the ongoing effort of gathering, analyzing, and managing Foundation Data within ServiceNow. The Foundation Data Analyst will utilize defined processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of the CSDM foundation data within ServiceNow and assist in delivering operational efficiency improvements. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work effectively with multiple global internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure the accurate and effective management of Foundation Data.What this role involves:
  • Monitor and maintain the CSDM Foundation Data within ServiceNow.
  • Assist with the definition and management of data integration processes.
  • Support the Foundation Data Manager in ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Support the Configuration Management team in ensuring accurate and reliable CMDB data.
  • Coordinate with service owners and technology teams to ensure CIs are accurately aligned.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Foundation Data by regularly auditing and validating.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and reporting tools.
  • Drive the automation of Foundation Data Management tasks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Data Management.
  • Experience managing data structures and tools in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience within ServiceNow, including CSDM implementation experience.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, sources, organization, storage, and workflow.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong interest in data management and IT Service Management processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Advocate for driving efficiencies, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
  • Prior experience of ServiceNow required.
  • ITIL / ITSM knowledge / experience / certifications an advantage.
