Workday Services Integration Lead Consultant - APAC Shift

Job Description

WPP is seeking a Workday Services Integration Lead Consultant to provide technical leadership for Workday integration implementation. The consultant will oversee the configuration and optimization of Workday Payroll and non-payroll integrations, ensuring alignment with WPP’s business objectives. This role involves leading integration discovery sessions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and providing advanced technical support for Workday-related issues. The ideal candidate will manage a team of Workday technical specialists and stay current with Workday updates.What this role involves:

• Providing strategic and technical leadership for Workday integration.
• Leading integration discovery sessions to identify system integration requirements.
• Overseeing the integration of Workday with other enterprise systems.
• Leading integration workshops to meet specific business requirements.
• Coordinating with teams across various departments to ensure agile sprints are delivered on time.
• Providing advanced technical support for Workday-related issues.
• Managing a team of Workday technical specialists.
• Staying current with Workday updates and new features.
• Providing weekly status updates to leadership and managing the integration development plan.
• Supporting project managers with integration deliverables.

Requirements:

• Deep technical expertise in Workday configuration, implementation, and integration.
• Extensive experience with multiple Workday modules, including at least 5 years in a technical lead or supervisory role.
• Strong skills in project management, using methodologies and tools like Agile and SCRUM.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing technical teams.
• Experience with custom development within the Workday environment, including Workday Extend and Prism.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong experience in implementing market-leading ESB solutions.
• Experience working in an offshore model.
• Proactive collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
