Senior Data Scientist at Dataiku

Dataiku is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Amsterdam. Dataiku is a company that provides a platform that makes data actionable and accessible. The Senior Data Scientist will play a crucial role in client-facing endeavors, supporting platform discovery, integrating Dataiku with other technologies, delivering user training, and co-developing data science projects. They will work with Python, SQL, and other languages to solve real-world problems, providing strategic input to customer and internal account teams, and contributing to sales efforts by identifying new service leads.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technically the delivery of client use case developments or migrations
• Scope and develop production-level data science projects for our customers across different industries and use cases
• Help users discover and master the Dataiku platform via demos, instructor-led user training, and ongoing consultative support
• Provide strategic input to the customer and internal account teams that help make our customers successful
• Raise risks and issues with the Dataiku engagement managers for a successful time to value and implementation
• Diplomatically tackle complex technical matters and challenging situations with partners and customers
• Provide data science expertise both to customers, partners, and internally to Dataiku’s sales and marketing teams
• Inspire trust and demonstrate leadership in the field of AI, Responsible AI, and Generative AI to your peers and our customers and prospects
• Contribute to the selling of the services in your region by bringing new service leads and scoping additional projects
• Develop custom Python-based “plugins” in collaboration with Solutions, R&D, and Product teams, to enhance Dataiku’s functionality.

Requirements:

• Technical lead experience in the space of data science and analytics
• Curiosity and a desire and ability to learn new topics and skills at pace
• Empathy for others and an eagerness to share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues, Dataiku’s customers, and the general public
• The ability to clearly explain complex topics to technical as well as non-technical audiences
• Over 3 years of experience with Python and SQL
• Over 4 years of experience with building ML models and using ML tools (e.g., sklearn)
• Familiarity with data visualization in Python and R
• Understanding of underlying data systems such as Cloud architectures, Hadoop, or SQL
