Job Description

Dataiku is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to its customers. This role is available either onsite in Paris, London, Berlin, and Amsterdam or remotely from these countries. The SDET will play a crucial role in ensuring users have the best possible experience with Dataiku's platform, which is built on modern web technologies and integrates with a large ecosystem of big data technologies.

The Software Engineer in Test will collaborate with developers to ensure testable code and improve existing test infrastructure. They will also mentor new QA team members.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coding advanced automated test suites for applications at all levels
  • Defining manual testing plans and test strategies
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure testable code
  • Improving existing test infrastructure and frameworks
  • Mentoring new QA team members

Requirements:

  • Experience in software test engineering with a significant part in automation (API and/or UI Testing)
  • Understanding that collaborating with developers is the key for a good testing strategy
  • Experience with at least one Object Oriented language (such as Python, Java, C#, or C++)
  • Ability to discuss choices before implementing them
