Job Description
The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute high-profile marketing campaigns. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create omni-channel marketing plans that support brand activations.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a point of contact between The Pokémon Company’s Tokyo office, Japanese agency partners, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with The Pokémon Company’s Tokyo office to align on marketing direction and keep internal teams informed.
  • Partner with PR, Social Media, CRM, Retail, Events and various Digital Marketing teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage development of marketing materials and creative assets, leading internal and external partner feedback loops and approvals.
  • Maintain annual marketing calendars, ensuring milestones are up-to-date and communicated.
  • Work with external Media Planning agency partner to develop advertising plans.
  • Prepare marketing campaign performance reports, tracking against KPIs and recommending adjustments.
  • Stay current on industry trends and consumer research to inform marketing strategy.
  • Build and manage relationships with product managers, leadership, integrated marketing teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years of related professional experience.
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English.
  • Understanding of Japanese business culture, customs, and practices.
  • Experience working with global brands, marketing consumer products, or entertainment franchises.
  • Experience managing development of 360 marketing programs.
  • Experience leading cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Experience working with agencies and external partners.
  • Understanding of Paid Media platforms and best practices.
  • Familiarity with audience segmentation data.
  • Demonstrated program management skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and emerging needs.
  • Proven problem solver.
  • Organized and process-oriented.
