Integration Engineer

Job Description

PhonePe Group is seeking an Integration Engineer to develop and maintain merchant integrations. This role involves service integration, API management, file transfers, and SQL queries. The candidate will participate in requirements analysis, design, and development, ensuring code quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with product and tech teams to understand product flows.
• Interacting with merchant tech/business teams.
• Understanding and implementing merchant flows.
• Troubleshooting and resolving merchant integration issues.
• Automating processes for issue resolution and requirements.
• Identifying and fixing root causes of production issues.
• Ensuring well-tested code and coding best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience coding in Java.
• At least 1 year experience developing and implementing REST APIs.
• Good understanding of OOP.
• Basic understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Good communication skills.
• High ownership and self-drive.
• Commitment to project timelines.
