TransferGo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Kaunas, Lithuania. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping how money is sent worldwide, working within a team of skilled individuals focused on timely data delivery for various inquiries.He/She will report to Data Engineering Manager.Responsibilities:
- Develop and support new and existing dbt models following dimensional modeling best practices.
- Build data validation rules and data quality monitors for data quality assurance.
- Build and maintain data products.
- Guide data users on how data products should be used.
- Optimize data transformations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain data governance across the company.
- Communicate with product teams regarding data quality issues.
- Excellent knowledge of DBT tool.
- Excellent SQL knowledge.
- Experienced with dimensional data modeling techniques.
- Experience in performance tuning on analytics databases (like Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc).
- Familiar with how data models are used in BI tools.
