TransferGo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Warsaw, Poland. The company is a fintech scale-up focused on providing affordable financial services for migrants. The Senior Data Engineer will play a key role in shaping how money is sent worldwide, working within a team to ensure timely data delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support dbt models.
- Build data validation rules and data quality monitors.
- Build and maintain data products.
- Guide data users on how data products should be used.
- Optimize data transformations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain data governance.
- Communicate with product teams regarding data quality issues.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of DBT tool.
- Excellent SQL knowledge.
- Experience with dimensional data modeling techniques.
- Experience in performance tuning on analytics databases (like Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc).
- Familiar with how data models are used in BI tools.
