Senior Software Engineer - Data Collection

Job Description

Strider Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Data Collection Team. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for leveraging Python to build, automate, and scale data collection efforts. The engineer will contribute to the company's web scraping platform and internal tools. They will also provide leadership and guidance to establish best practices for engineering teams.

• Build and enhance data collection pipelines using Python.
• Build internal tools and dashboards using JavaScript and Python.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and subject-matter experts.
• Translate requirements into secure applications and services.
• Develop and maintain software using established best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Ability to work alongside other engineers.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Ability to ask questions when needed.
• A pragmatic approach to challenges.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
