Job Description

Strider Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Data Collection Team in Tysons Corner, VA. The candidate will leverage Python to build, automate, and scale data collection efforts, contributing to the company's web scraping platform and internal tools. The Senior Software Engineer will work with a team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, and subject-matter experts. The role involves translating requirements into secure applications, developing maintainable code, and participating in code reviews.

• Build and enhance data collection pipelines using Python.
• Build internal tools and dashboards using JavaScript and Python.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers.
• Translate requirements into secure applications and services.
• Develop and maintain software using established best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Ability to work alongside other engineers.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Ability to ask questions when needed.
• A pragmatic approach to challenges.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
