Staff Full Stack Engineer

Job Description

Strider Technologies is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join its Internal Tools Engineering Team. This individual will be responsible for creating custom tools and systems to automate the analysis of large datasets and provide actionable insights to internal users. The Staff Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with users, contribute to product innovation, and participate in the design and architecture of new and existing platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to and improving the technical design and architecture of platforms.
• Collaborating with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and subject-matter experts.
• Translating requirements into secure applications and services.
• Participating in code reviews and software release processes.
• Discussing and documenting best practices for software development.
• Researching and implementing new solutions to system design challenges.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience in application development and systems delivery.
• 8+ years of hands-on Python development experience (or related).
• Experience building web interfaces and APIs in Python with Flask/Django and Bootstrap.
• Strong understanding of software algorithms and data structures.
• Experience building cloud-native solutions in AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and focus on clear goals.
