Head of Monitoring & Testing

Job Description

OKX is seeking a Head of Monitoring & Testing to oversee the development and enhancement of the Compliance Monitoring and Testing Program. The Compliance department at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. The Global Compliance Monitoring and Testing (GCMT) team is an independent and oversight function responsible for planning and executing monitoring and testing activities.

The Head of Monitoring & Testing will be responsible for partnering closely with other Compliance Leaders, Legal, Product, Engineering and Risk. This role will develop and maintain a comprehensive monitoring and testing plan leading to the early identification and sustainable mitigation of regulatory, reputational, and operational risk.

What this role involves:

• Owning, designing/refining, and managing the Compliance Monitoring and Testing Program.
• Leading, training and mentoring a team responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews globally.
• Communicating company's compliance framework and GCMT Program requirements to all relevant stakeholders.
• Engaging cross-functionally to establish global processes, standards, documentation and test plans.
• Preparing Compliance reports for management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in compliance with financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries.
• 4+ years of management experience for a team lead role.
• Experience in compliance monitoring and testing roles, preferably overseeing CMT programs.
• Knowledge of crypto, compliance regulations, financial services regulations, internal policies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
