OKX is seeking a Specialist in Customer Due Diligence Operations - KYB, to join their team in Sliema, Malta. This role involves working alongside the KYB team, handling customer Know Your Business (KYB) cases identified during onboarding for potential risks such as money laundering and terrorist financing. The specialist will ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act violations and other AML or fraud-related issues. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in know-your-business and sanctions compliance.

What This Role Involves:
  • Performing comprehensive reviews of customer onboarding cases.
  • Verifying AML documentation using validation tools and reputable sources.
  • Requesting CDD/EDD documentation from customers.
  • Following up on pending CDD/EDD requests.
  • Investigating matches generated by scanning applications against sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media.
  • Providing information to management on AML/CDD issues.
  • Maintaining high-quality service levels for customers and other departments.
  • Supporting the enhancement of the CDD function and maintaining procedures.
  • Managing specific projects as they arise.
Requirements:
  • Completion of tertiary higher education (Higher Diploma, Degree, or higher).
  • Two or more years of experience in AML and CDD/EDD review or in a KYB work domain.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
