OKX is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their Special Investigations team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth investigations of complex AML cases, ensuring thorough analysis and adherence to regulatory requirements. They will analyze blockchain transactions to track and identify suspicious or illicit activities, such as money laundering and other criminal activities. The role involves collaborating with external partners, staying updated on industry changes, and supporting team training.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth investigations of complex AML cases.
• Analyze data to identify process gaps and opportunities.
• Evaluate AML transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with external partners.
• Stay abreast of changes to the cryptocurrency industry.
• Support team training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of direct experience in BSA/AML investigations and operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of BSA/AML, KYC regulations globally.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency protocols.
• Experience performing in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, critical thinker.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
