Internal Audit Lead at OKX

OKX, a leading crypto exchange, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Lead for its Türkiye operations. The Internal Audit Lead will provide expert guidance, coordinate audit activities, and ensure compliance with Turkish regulatory requirements.

The role involves assisting in risk assessment, internal audit planning, audit execution, and reporting audit results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing within the cryptocurrency or financial technology industry and a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing risk-based internal audit plans.
• Hold walkthroughs and meetings with stakeholders to understand business processes and internal controls.
• Execute testing on the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Assist in responding to internal and external stakeholder requests.
• Foster strong working relationships and provide guidance on audit matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid internal audit experience in managing country/region level portfolio.
• Broad audit experience across various areas including financial crime compliance, technology, risk management, corporate governance, product and finance.
• Working knowledge of cryptocurrency exchange operations, blockchain technology and wallet infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of the Turkish regulatory landscape and practical experience in assessing compliance with the regulations from CMB is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of internal audit methodology, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work in a global context and coordinate with global teams.
• High level of integrity and ethical behavior.
