OKX is seeking a Senior Manager, Risk to bolster its second-line risk management function as it expands across Europe following MiCA license approval. The role is based in Sliema, Malta. This pivotal role involves shaping and scaling financial and non-financial risk frameworks to ensure OKX remains at the forefront of risk excellence.Reporting to the Head of Risk, Malta, the Senior Manager will identify, assess, and mitigate risks across various domains, collaborating with Compliance, Legal, Security, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams.What this role involves:
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Driving risk assessment, mitigation, and control processes.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to embed a strong risk culture.
- Leading deep-dive risk reviews and documenting processes.
- Developing and monitoring key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Supporting regulatory compliance efforts.
- Conducting scenario analysis and stress testing.
- Acting as a strategic risk advisor.
- 5-7+ years of experience in risk management within financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
- Strong expertise in Financial Risk or Non-Financial Risk.
- Ability to independently manage risk projects and engage with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
