Strategic Communications Director (Social Media Focused)

OKX is seeking a Strategic Communications Director to enhance the CEO's visibility and influence on social media. This role involves leading social media strategy, content creation, media engagement, and speechwriting. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to craft compelling narratives that drive the CEO's thought leadership in blockchain, fintech, and digital assets.Role involves:

• Guiding the CEO's social media presence, primarily on X (formerly Twitter).
• Developing and implementing a cohesive communications strategy.
• Leading the creation of high-quality content, including speeches and op-eds.
• Providing strategic counsel during high-stakes situations.
• Overseeing executive messaging for internal channels.
• Leveraging social listening tools and performance analytics.
• Managing and mentoring junior communications staff.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in executive communications or related fields.
• Proven track record in managing executive-level social media and building executive IP.
• Deep expertise in Web3, blockchain, fintech, or technology sectors.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Experience with high-profile executives and global brands.
• Data-driven mindset with experience in social listening.
