Senior Security Engineer at Shakepay FR

Shakepay, a rapidly growing Canadian company in the Bitcoin space, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their risk management team. This role is fully remote within Canada, or optionally based in their Montreal office.

The Senior Security Engineer will help build the foundation for the risk management system. This role involves shaping the future of risk management at Shakepay.

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in building risk management systems.
• Encouraging product and feature innovation, maintaining quality, scalability, and performance.
• Mentoring engineers through code reviews and team discussions.
• Collaborating on implementing a technology vision.
• Influencing the engineering team with impact on clients and Shakepay.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes, structural design, and system optimization.
• Experience in designing and operating scalable backend infrastructures.
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative team.
