Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Automation

Job Description

Harbinger, an American commercial electric vehicle (EV) company, is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Automation. This role involves leading the development, implementation, and optimization of automated manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, quality, and efficiency in EV manufacturing. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute long-term strategies for automated manufacturing processes.
• Direct cross-functional teams for the design and ramp-up of automated manufacturing systems.
• Lead automation projects from concept to deployment, including vendor selection and system integration.
• Define and enforce quality standards in line with ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Champion lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10-15+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive or EV industries.
• In-depth knowledge of EV-specific manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in automation, PLCs, robotics, and AI-driven manufacturing systems.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
