Graduate Hire 2024/25 - SRE/Security Engineer at OKX

OKX is seeking a Graduate SRE/Security Engineer to join their Supernova program in Hong Kong. This 3-year program aims to fast-track graduates into technical experts and future leaders.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of the OKX platform, which supports millions of daily active users. They will collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to secure IT infrastructure, assess security risks, and develop advanced security mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

• Service reliability, monitoring, capacity planning, and security of cloud infrastructure.
• Build tools for automating changes across a large-scale trading platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems.
• Conduct security testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Perform routine checks to detect and patch vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain a data security platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of security attack and defense.
• Familiarity with Java/Python/Go, relational databases, data structures, and algorithms.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in Java OR Golang and front-end development.
• Drafting data-related policies and procedures (P&P).
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
