Job Description

OKX is seeking a Staff/Senior Engineer to join their Fraud Risk team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the engineering team by implementing and supporting backend microservices, collaborating with frontend and cross-functional teams, and contributing to critical decisions. The candidate will engage with real-time fraud monitoring, event data stream ingestion, A/B testing, and innovative data science solutions within a full-featured risk ecosystem.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing high-scale APIs and distributed systems.
  • Developing and testing high-quality product features across multiple domains.
  • Working with engineering managers, architects, engineers, and QA to develop innovative solutions.
  • Researching and promoting new technologies and tools.
  • Addressing technical challenges related to performance, fault-tolerance, and security.
  • Contributing throughout the entire service lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • Solid foundation in Java with understanding of JVM configuration optimisation strategies and tuning.
  • Proficiency with developing Web Services, SOA, REST APIs, Message Queue, Distributed/Scalable Architecture
  • Familiarity with mainstream open-source application frameworks such as SpringBoot, SpringMVC, Mybatis, SpringCloud.
  • Experience with MySQL, Oracle, and other databases.
  • Familiarity with common middleware such as Kakfa, ELK, Hologres.
  • Good understanding of distributed system principles.
