Senior Engineer - Java (Asset & Custody) at OKX

OKX is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their Asset & Custody team in Hong Kong. This role involves working on a greenfield project within one of the world's largest crypto exchanges. The successful candidate will design and implement high-performing, scalable, and flexible user-centric services to meet the evolving needs of OKX's global user base and regulatory requirements. This person will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to drive rapid innovation in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and implementing high-performing and scalable user-center services.
• Collaborating with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to drive rapid innovation.

Requirements:

• Experience in Microservice/API development with Java/SpringBoot/SpringCloud.
• Knowledgeable in multi-threading and distributed architecture.
• Understanding of mainstream messaging frameworks including Kafka, Tibco, Informatica UM etc.
• Solid experience with relational databases.
• Comfortable with cloud-based Linux environment.
• Embrace agile development process including TDD, CI and Scrum.
• Experience working with teams across offices and time zones.
• Knowledge in Spring Security is a plus.
• Fluent in English, knowledge of mandarin is a plus.
