Senior / Lead AI Engineer - Recommendation Systems

Job Description

OKX is seeking a Senior or Lead AI Engineer to join their Recommendation Team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be passionate about recommendation systems, machine learning, and large-scale AI applications. This role involves optimizing user experiences by delivering relevant and engaging content in real-time on the OKX platform.

The engineer will work with machine learning algorithms that power content feeds, personalized recommendations, and user growth strategies. He will collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and infrastructure engineers.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and optimizing large-scale recommendation algorithms.
• Implementing and enhancing retrieval, ranking, and re-ranking models.
• Applying sequence-based models to understand user behavior.
• Improving recall mechanisms using collaborative filtering and deep learning.
• Leveraging multi-modal learning to enhance content understanding and personalization.
• Running A/B tests to assess algorithm performance and iterate accordingly.
• Enhancing system efficiency and scalability.
• Staying updated with the latest research in recommendation systems.

The role requires:

• 5+ years of experience in recommendation systems, machine learning, or related AI fields.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning models.
• Familiarity with retrieval, ranking, and cold-start problem solutions.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in big data processing and large-scale distributed computing.
• Understanding of user behavior modeling and reinforcement learning for recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
