Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

OKX is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong. The candidate will collaborate with developers and product managers to create detailed test plans and execute test cases. OKX has a strong focus on automated testing, and the QA team is embracing cutting-edge testing automation technology to improve the efficiency of software delivery. The role involves:

• Reviewing product requirements and technical architecture.
• Identifying potential risks in software quality and providing feedbacks to help improve robustness of the system.
• Creating tailored, comprehensive testing plans and testing cases.
• Communicating clearly with key stakeholders in product and development teams.
• Executing testing plans in managed testing environments.
• Documenting and tracking bugs.
• Building automated testing solutions for API testing and e2e integration testing.
• Pairing with the development team, participating in code reviews, identifying gaps in testability of the system, and helping build towards comprehensive regression coverage that can be executed automatically.

Requirements include:

• Experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar position.
• Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background.
• Fluent with software development tools including Maven, Git, Tomcat, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Familiar with mainstream Java open source frameworks and middlewares, including Spring Boot, Kafka, Nacos, etc.
• Familiar with at least one scripting language, e.g. Python, Javascript, etc.
• Professional experience in adopting or building automated testing tools.
• Good team work spirit, strong communication skills, able to complete tasks independently.
• Willing to learn all aspects of products in financial and crypto markets.
