Principal/Senior Quantitative Researcher (D1) at OKX

OKX is seeking a Principal/Senior Quantitative Researcher to join their team in Hong Kong. The researcher will work directly with PMs to generate trading ideas and take them to production. OKX is a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet, providing access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications.

What this role involves:

• Generating trading ideas and taking them to production
• Researching, coding, testing, and building quantitative models that support arbitrage trading business
• Designing, implementing, and testing mid-frequency alpha strategies/alphas
• Developing or enhancing existing backtesting frameworks to validate strategy performance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quantitative research into production strategies
• Adapting tradfi skills to investigate crypto-related products

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in a quantitative field
• Ability to reason logically, deliver under pressure and take ownership
• Experience with quantitative research methodologies
• Basic programming skills in at least one scripting language, preferably Python
• Familiarity with on-chain analytics and blockchain data sources is a plus
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English
