KBRA Analytics is seeking an Operational Financial Data Senior Analyst to join their KFI Content team. This role involves in ingesting, curating, and managing U.S. GAAP financial data for their KFI product. The Analyst will also provide support for internal and external clients, and collaborate with multiple teams across the firm.

Role involves:
  • Extracting and standardizing XBRL data from SEC filings.
  • Performing data quality assurance.
  • Troubleshooting and correcting data errors.
  • Managing deliverables and communication with third-party providers.
  • Formulating business rules for data validation.
  • Generating ideas to enhance the data product.
  • Generating documentation and reports.
  • Utilizing subject matter expertise to inform methodologies for data management.

Requirements:
  • Two (2) or more years of business experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business analytics, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience creating and using databases such as SQL and NOSQL.
  • Understanding of differing reporting patterns for financial statements by jurisdiction and industry sector.
  • Knowledge of SEC filing requirements and forms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with third-party providers and across departments.
