OKX is seeking a Senior Compliance Data Scientist to join their team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will serve as a Data Science subject matter expert, providing advice for Financial Crimes operations to improve detection scenarios. They will utilize advanced data analytics to identify trends and insights related to compliance issues, develop predictive models to forecast compliance risks, and collaborate with the legal and regulatory team to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Analyzing large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and insights related to compliance issues.
- Developing predictive models and algorithms to forecast compliance risks.
- Collaborating with the legal and regulatory team to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Participating in AML risk assessments and audits.
- Communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmaps to stakeholders.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and model development.
- Familiarity with applying analytics techniques on AML and regulatory compliance concepts.
