(Senior/) Risk Data Analyst at OKX

OKX is seeking a Senior Risk Data Analyst to join their team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting data analysis and data mining within risk control domains. They will design and implement risk control solutions, strategies, and machine learning models, collaborating closely with engineering teams. OKX is a leading crypto exchange committed to providing access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications.

Role Involves:

• Conducting data analysis and data mining of risk control domains
• Designing risk control solutions including strategies and machine learning models
• Implementing solutions with engineering teams
• Understanding stakeholder needs and designing anti-fraud solutions
• Collaborating with data engineers, AI engineers, and backend developers
• Setting up frameworks and SOPs for risk control projects
• Defining success metrics for risk control products
• Conducting AB tests for performance evaluation
• Implementing monitoring mechanisms for performance tracking and anomaly detection
• Conducting research on applying cutting-edge techniques in the crypto industry

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in risk analysis and risk strategy design
• Minimum 5 years experience as risk strategist, data scientist, data analyst, or product manager in risk control/anti-fraud
• Experience in designing and building risk control products and strategies in crypto, finance, or other IT industries
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency in technical product, system, and implementation details
• Data-oriented approach to identifying, defining, tracking, and acting upon impact metrics
• Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring
• Rich experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
