Account Manager, Adyen for Platforms at Adyen

Adyen is seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their team in Toronto. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with innovative international merchants across various industries. In this role, you will act as a trusted delivery of Adyen's product to customers, providing expertise, education, and payment guidance.

What this role involves:

• Strategic consultation: Act as the human dimension of Adyen’s product, delivering expertise, education, and payment guidance to customers.
• Project management: Prioritize and execute on short and long term projects with varying timelines across multiple accounts.
• Commercial acumen: Drive commercial discussions with customers, while meeting strategic and financial targets for assigned accounts.
• Relationship management: Build strong customer relationships and navigate their organizations to align the right external and internal stakeholders.
• Feedback: Be the voice and champion for your customer internally and serve as a feedback loop.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role (account management, consulting, payments)
• Experience working within payments, financial services, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms.
• Passionate about leading strategic payments conversations, presenting business reviews, and coordinating high level technical discussions
• Skilled in leveraging your business acumen and analytical abilities
• Comfortable synthesizing complex data sets and using data to tell a story
• Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English
• Some domestic and international travel required
