Job Description
Precision for Medicine is seeking a Manager, Account Development to increase market awareness, generate leads, and expand the customer base for the Business Development Team. This role involves direct contact with prospective clients through telephone, email, and direct mail, as well as assisting in developing and implementing strategies to foster long-term relationships with new and existing clients. The Manager will also collaborate with the Business Development Leadership Team to establish and refine "inside sales" best practices.Role involves:
  • Reviewing current account development processes and recommending improvements.
  • Assisting in establishing account development production expectations and metrics.
  • Collaborating with the Business Development Leadership Team for performance review and mentoring.
  • Identifying potential clients and contacts using defined "ideal account" profiles.
  • Developing and deploying territory and account strategies.
  • Initiating the sales process through various communication channels.
  • Setting up meetings for BD representatives.
  • Providing sales activity reports.
  • Ensuring all activity is recorded in Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Mentoring and training new team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • Full Professional Proficiency in English.
  • 5+ years of experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Availability for occasional domestic and international travel.
  • Understanding of the Oncology and Rare Disease Development market.
  • Practical knowledge of IT tools and systems.
