Job Description
Buynomics, a next-generation SaaS company specializing in pricing and product optimization, is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join their Commercial Excellence team. This is a hybrid role based in Cologne or Barcelona. The Junior Data Scientist will play a key role in creating value from client data by working on the Data Science end of the Solution Engineering team.
Role involves:
- Creating solutions that map clients into the Buynomics ML application using data science.
- Participating in the R&D of processes and features for automatic data value creation.
- Assisting with high-priority operational requests involving data analyses or scripting.
Requirements:
- Completed master’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, data science, or a related quantitative area.
- Sound knowledge of modern statistics and basic knowledge of machine learning.
- Background knowledge in leveraging data science to create value from data.
- Intermediate knowledge of Python.
- Eagerness to drive value and have an impact.
- Ability to effectively manage ambiguities and strive for excellence.
- Curiosity about commercial insights and modern pricing.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
