Motion Designer (Freelance)

Job Description

Golin, a progressive public relations agency, is seeking a Freelance Motion Designer. The Motion Designer will contribute to all stages of creative development, from concept and storyboarding to animation/production and final delivery across a wide range of executions. The role involves working across a broad range of media, from developing branding for medical symposiums to storyboarding social animations and developing groundbreaking data visualizations.

Role Involves:

• Contributing to all stages of creative development
• Staying up-to-date with current design trends
• Understanding best practices for content across various platforms
• Working with multiple departments
• Working effectively with vendors and colleagues

Requirements:

• Ability to take concepts from initial brief to final execution
• Professional-level mastery of Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Strong storytelling, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and work within tight timeframes
• Attention to detail, organized, and logical
• Minimum 3 years of studio/agency/in-house experience
