WPP is seeking an L2 Support Engineer to join their global team in Bucharest. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing world-class support services to customers across the WPP Open Platform. The L2 Support Engineer will ensure the stability and resiliency of the platform by implementing industry standards for support, aligned with WPP Enterprise Technology Policies.

Role Involves:

  • Providing first and second-line technical and application support to clients
  • Investigating non-conforming software causes and train users to implement solutions
  • Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Following established runbook procedures to resolve user issues
  • Maintaining detailed notes related to each support ticket
  • Ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Assisting the client service team with generating client reports through the ticketing system
  • Managing personnel matters, including defining roles, recruiting, and onboarding new team members

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with global teams
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Minimum of three years' experience providing technical support for enterprise-level applications and technologies
  • Proven ability to manage teams within an application support domain
  • Experience configuring and managing customer issue management tools (JIRA, Zendesk, ServiceNow)
  • Experience working with reporting tools to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Some experience with coding and software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Some experience of SQL and scripting (Python), API calls, GCP Foundation, Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE/Minikube, ArgoCD, Datadog, Statuspage, Pagerduty
  • Sound understanding of ITIL best practices
  • Understanding of Advertising APIs
  • ITIL Qualified
  • Background in Adtech or Advertising businesses
