Vehicle Processing Technician

Job Description

Harbinger, an American commercial electric vehicle (EV) company, is seeking a Vehicle Processing Technician to join their Operations team. This role is crucial in supporting Harbinger's vehicle deployments and ensuring fleet readiness for final QC and customer delivery.Responsibilities:

• Performing pre-delivery reworks and quality checks at the Sturgis Processing Center.
• Providing engineering test support at proving grounds and other test locations.
• Traveling to support engineering, maintain truck functionality, collect data, and solve problems.
• Offering field support for customer fleets, problem-solving, and logistical/technical support for special events.
• Assisting with engineering prototype builds.
• Managing tools, shop organization, and supplies inventory.
• Collecting and analyzing vehicle data.
• Maintaining equipment calibrations and records.
• Spending time at Harbinger's HQ in California for training.
• Contributing to process development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of work experience in a vehicle workshop and/or dealer shop.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• EV and HV experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus an Automotive Technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to self-start and manage tasks with varying levels of information.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with vehicle Controller Area Network (CAN) communication is a plus.
• Expertise with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
