Principal Solutions Architect

Job Description

Neptune is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to engage with top research labs, helping them maximize the value of Neptune's platform. The role involves leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for potential high-value customers, conducting technical demos, and providing advanced troubleshooting to drive product adoption and identify upsell opportunities.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on driving customer success through expert technical support and collaboration.

Role involves:

• Serving as the primary technical advisor in high-priority customer engagements.
• Capturing and translating customer insights into detailed product requirements.
• Leading and executing PoCs for prospective customers.
• Conducting detailed technical demos and discussions.
• Identifying potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Acting as a high-level technical troubleshooter.
• Contributing insights on customer use cases and best practices.

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI.
• Strong proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily to the USA.
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles.
• Strategic insight into how technical decisions impact business outcomes.
• High degree of autonomy, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
