Job Description
Kroll Bond Rating Agency Europe Limited is seeking a Director to join their Funds Ratings team in Dublin. This role involves assigning and monitoring credit ratings on debt instruments issued by funds. The Director will evaluate financing instruments supporting fund operations, liquidity, and capital structures. KBRA's portfolio includes funds leveraging various investment strategies like fixed income, private equity, and real estate.
The role involves:
- Leading new issuance rating processes.
- Interacting with issuers and conducting due diligence.
- Preparing rating memos and reports.
- Leading ongoing monitoring and surveillance.
- Developing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.
- Collaborating with KBRA experts across sectors.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Developing analytical tools.
- Representing KBRA at industry events.
- Assisting with credit research and publications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in fund finance or investing.
- Experience with investment strategies in private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and asset-based lending facilities.
- Understanding of subscription lines, NAV financing, and other fund finance products.
- Experience reviewing legal documents.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
