QA Engineer at Constructor TECH

Constructor TECH, a platform specializing in education and research, is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team. The company has headquarters in Switzerland, with entities in Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkey, and Singapore.

The QA Engineer will be responsible for test automation, working within the Constructor Tech QA Team and collaborating with application teams to meet program delivery needs.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in release and QA activities
• Mentor & guide the QA team members
• Design, develop, maintain and improve test cases and test plans
• Execute automated and manual tests
• Report test results and defects
• Analyse and troubleshoot issues in the software
• Apply Black/White/Gray Box QA techniques

Requirements:

• Appropriate IT related degree or relevant experience
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Very good understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes.
• Ability to create process and lead testing initiatives and agenda;
• Perfect understanding of QA processes and methodologies – test planning, test case management tools, bug tracking systems and software development life cycle;
• Knowledge of SQL and databases
• Thinking outside of the box
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Independent, self-motivated, resourceful and able to get things done.
• Fluent in English.
