Job Description
General Assembly is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructor to support content development, curriculum enhancement, and instruction for its industry-leading learning programs. This role involves close collaboration with learning designers, project teams, and functional experts to create, refine, and deliver high-quality educational content that meets evolving industry needs.Responsibilities include:
- Participating in pre-sale meetings with GA Account Directors and prospective clients.
- Preparing materials and insights to tailor GA’s learning solutions to client needs.
- Curating, designing, and contextualizing learning content to align with industry needs and best practices.
- Collaborating with instructional designers and SMEs to develop a world-class curriculum.
- Facilitating engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environments for students.
- Conducting instructional sessions according to given program length and schedule.
- Preparing lessons and materials, leveraging existing GA curriculum resources.
- Guiding students in completing exercises, labs, and projects.
- Inspiring students to persist through the challenges of learning new technologies and skills.
Requirements include:
- 2+ years of professional experience in relevant fields.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or teaching others in a professional or academic setting.
- Passion for shaping the skills, minds, and careers of the next generation of learners.
- Ability to facilitate an engaging and collaborative classroom environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex topics into accessible learning experiences.
- Expertise in AI/ML Solution Architecture, Agentic AI Design, LLM Integration & Customization, AI for Data Engineering, and AI Infrastructure & MLOps.
